Lost Baggage? A Good Thing?

Happy 4th of July, everyone! There's nothing worse than sporting some under eye bags thanks to last nights party or your recent bought of jet lag.  Try these tips below to lose that baggage.

Cucumbers

We all know the benefits of cucumbers for reducing puffiness around your eyes…It’s a trick that’s not so tricky. Just slice a few and lay them on closed eyes for a few minutes.

Chamomile Tea

One secret I learned from my friends in Germany is to use chamomile tea bags. Just steep the tea bags for a few minutes and let them cool. Place each bag over the eye and relax for 10-15 minutes. Take them off and voila! Your puffiness is gone! For stubborn bags, throw your tea bags in the freezer for a few minutes to get a quicker result.

Rose Water

You wouldn't think Rose Water would be a trick to reducing puffy eyes, but if you use the secret a la the Parisian Women you're in luck.  You will need cotton rounds, Rose Water, Ice. Soak the cotton rounds in rose water.  Place each cotton round on a bowl of ice. Let chill for a minute and then apply under the eye.  Your eye area will feel instantly soothed and your puffiness will be gone.

Teaspoons

This is one of the quickest and easiest ways to de-puff.  Take two teaspoons and place them in the freezer.  Keep them in there until you need a quick go to for saying bye bye to those bags.  Just make sure you test the spoon on your hand so that its not too cold for your eye area.
